Frequently Asked Questions

My fee for a 60 minute appointment is $85.

My fees are not covered by OHIP, but are covered by some insurance providers. If you participate in a benefits program, please check with your provider as to whether therapy sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist are covered in full or part.

I reserve space in my practice for clients who require a reduced rate; please feel free to ask me about this.

No. The duration and frequency of therapy is up to you. Some clients like to work together weekly for a period of time, while others prefer to meet on an irregular basis that suits their schedule and needs.

I have a limited number of session times each week and as soon as we book a time to meet, our hour together is set aside only for you.

For this reason, I will happily cancel or change your appointment cancel your session with 24 hours’ or more notice at no charge.

If you cancel within 24 hours, unless it is an emergency, I would appreciate payment of the fee in full.

In response to the pandemic, I practice through electronic means only, meaning either phone or via a secure Zoom link.

The cornerstone of psychotherapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. For this reason, it is my professional and legal duty to ensure that your information and what we talk about is kept strictly confidential, subject to the legal limits of confidentiality set out in the consent agreement that I ask you to sign before the first time we meet.
